The fun of Summer Caravan Holidays
There are many types of holiday that you can go on in the UK, you could have a city break in a buzzing vibrant city or you could take a rural break and soak up some of the beautiful scenery that the UK has to offer. No holiday however is as fun as a caravan holiday.
Caravan holidays connect you with the outdoors and are much more enjoyable than camping holidays. Camping holidays can be fine if the weather is good but the problem with the UK is that the weather is extremely difficult to predict at any time of the year. Rainy and windy weather can ruin a camping a holiday – but in a caravan holiday it only adds to it. There is nothing like being holed up in a cosy and warm caravan whilst there is a howling gale outside.
Caravan holidays take what is best from camping and remove the negative, for instance you’re not always going to get a good night sleep in a tent – it it’s sunny in the morning (which you hope for so you can have a pleasant day) they you will probably wake up in a warm tent with a headache! A caravan doesn’t give you this problem though – the temperature remains constant. If you do have a sunny day though the space around you caravan is great for games and barbeques and you can really make the most of it.
The real advantage that caravans have over camping is that they are far more relaxed. Lets say you live in London and want a holiday in Jersey. You’ve probably got a good six hours (minimum) of traveling ahead of you. You get there the sun is setting and you have to erect a tent – not much fun at all. If you were staying in a static caravan in Jersey you’d just pull up outside unlock the door of your caravan and you on holiday – no pitching a tent, just flick the kettle on and your on holiday!
