The area was named for pioneer settler and developer Phillip Rogers. On April 29, 1878, Rogers Park was incorporated as a village, and in 1893, annexed to Chicago. Since then it frequently has been referred to as “East” Rogers Park, and West Ridge, the next neighborhood west, was identified as West Rogers Park.

There are many homes built directly on the water but few impart the same feeling as does this home with its openness and its easy access into the water for swimming, fishing and snorkeling.
